The official Russian currency is the RUBLE. Most of the stores, cafes, restaurants accept major credit cards. Souvenir stores and markets accept foreign currency. If you need RUBLES, there are many ATM machines, banks. Please remember: your private guide can assist you with everything you may need in St. Petersburg.
