Kremlin Small-group tour

This was incredible, our tour guide (Elena, I believe) was absolutely phenomenal. She made the entire experience quite a blast. We were 10 in the group and everyone could hear Elena very well. She was also very helpful in recommending places to eat and visit outside the tour

The whole experience was unforgettable. Kremlin and Red Square Area were amazing. St. Basil Cathedral (the onion dome landmark of Moscow) was like a dream. I had to go to the bottom and touch the walls for myself. Did not go inside as it was not part of the tour, but loved it anyway. There's the GUM Dept Stores you could go in and look around. Went back to Red Square at night without the guide, and it was worth to see the area at night, with lots of lights like Christmas time. Loved Russian capital very much.

Externally the scale of the walls is impressive but inside the space and buildings are even more impressive. This is a government working facility so the route through is very prescribed. However, the buildings, space, Cathedrals and gardens are so impressive - extending the visit to take in the Armory to see the jewels and general belongings of the Tzars is breathtaking. Viktoria was our guide. In addition to her informative and insightful narrative, being a history major, her knowledge, comments, and perspectives on Russia for the last 100 years on politics, space exploration, cold war, Nixon/ Khrushchev, communism, etc were highly invaluable.
