What can I say. St. Pete. was everything that I thought it to be. Definitely the highlight of our cruise. Our two day excursion was made so much better by our wonderful tour guide fromSTB tours. She had so much knowledge of what we were looking at and provided us whit some great information about her Country. Change my idea of the Cointry no the people. The only drawback was were not able to take the canal boat ride because the Russian Navy was in and were rehearsing on the canal. Not the fault of the tour guide. Outstanding. Our guide was informative, funny and made sure to keep us moving to see all we could. Boat trips were very nice,. The Pernod Gardens were spectacular and the trip down into the subway very interesting. Would highly recommend.

Great tour guide that made the tour run smoothly with minimal queues in popular locations. Driver was always on time for pickups We enjoyed this tour a lot, the small bus was easy to get on and off to take pictures, our tour guide Maria was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She got us into places before they opened to the public and we never had to wait in line. Our driver got us right in front of the venues so we didn't have to waste time walking long distances. I would highly recommend this trip!!

St. Petersburg was definitely the highlight of our cruise of the Baltics. Everything was organized quite well, there were no long lines to wait to get in anywhere. Our tour Guide Yekaterina was great and the only comment I could make even though she was pregnant it was pretty much always run - run - run. She was not slow by any means. On Catherines Summer Palace with the great gardens, she focused our attention on a squirrel. I was unimpressed. It's a rat with a fancy tail. Strangely enough, she was not the only tour guide, we witnessed several doing the same thing. What's up with that. Imperial Squirrels? The rest was great even though the weather didn't fully cooperate, 50 shades of gray she called it.

We arrived in St.Petersburg on the Viking Sky. We chose this tour instead of the larger group tour that Viking offered. We saved money and had a great experience. We had a small group of 15. We were transported in a specialized van with was comfortable. The tour was very similar to other two day deluxe St. Petersburg tours. What made the experience different was the small size of the group, the ability to hop to the front of lines, and early entrance to venues. The guide was knowledgeable, keep us on schedule, and personable. She was good at avoiding crowds and if that was not possible prioritizing the highlights. I am glad we opted for the small group experience over a group with 30 to 36 people.

We saw so much of St. Petersburg! Maria was awesome! Her knowledge of this area was amazing. Well worth every penny. This was a very well organised trip with professional guides. The sites we visited were were amazing. The two day tour was wonderful and also jam packed. Make sure you have your walking shoes on! Olga the tour guide is so knowledgeable and kind. The driver was also kind as well. They both made the tour very enjoyable.

Just arrived back from Baltic Cruise , and decided to book with Excoor despite being nervous that it was not being run by the Ship Excursions. I needn't have worried. We were met by Maria and Roman , who were both charming and professional. Excellent English and we had no trouble communicating with either of them. First thumbs up , was the free wifi within the bus. 16 people max on our tour, all friendly and encouraged to chat. The program was full but not rushed , and again Maria was so engaging and knowledgeable. Every stop provided a wow moment , and we never queued for longer than 5 minutes for anything. We would never have seen so much and learnt so much trying to do this independently. Thanks again Maria and Roman Worth every penny !!!

This was a full on tour, not for those with mobility problems. Our guide Sophia was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent information for each of the locations we visited. It was the best decision we made to go for a small group tour over the 2 days because (the 10 of us) were able to get around St Petersburg quickly making the most of the time available to us at each location. Our guide was well prepared and working with her driver was able to include the Metro ride, (one stop) due to their excellent time management, The provision of the poncho was extremely useful at Peterhof Gardens. We are not lovers of organised trips but this was expertly arranged and gave a wonderful insight into Russian history. Be prepared for an early start and a rush if you intend to attend the ballet in the evening especially if you book the ballet through a different company. This is the second time we have used Excoor and we would have no hesitation in recommending them again for other excursions. One disappointment - we were not able to go to St Catherines Palace and the Amber room but on our return home, we have discovered that we are receiving a refund which is an unexpected surprise as the Company replaced St Catherines Palace with another Palace full of history and tales of murder ! Thank you

This was a wonderful informative tour and hit all the highlights of St. Petersburg. Our guide, Elena, spoke great English and had vast knowledge of the Hermitage, Winter Palace, subway system, Church of the Spilt Blood. Elena has over 25 years as a professional guide and it was very apparent. Her tour through the Hermitage was so enjoyable. She took us directly to the highlights - the Amber Room and the paintings by Van Gogh and DaVinci. She knew specifically items in each of the rooms that were genuine antiques and which were reproductions. The tour bus was kept on schedule and we were returned to our ship each day on time. I can highly recommend this tour. Brilliant tour and very happy to recommend it. Very well organised, Elena was a fantastic guide and good value for money. 10/10
