Day 1:St Petersburg After pickup from your port, begin with a St Petersburg walking tour. See the major sites and historical attractions with a mini-walking tour around the city center, and enjoy plenty of photo opportunities.
Then visit St Isaac’s Cathedral with its colossal dome and peruse the local food market. Afterward, soak up some free time with lunch in one of the nearby cafes.
Then see the Hermitage Museum, one of the world's most prestigious museums, with over three million works of art. After a tour of the spectacular state and private rooms, you will be given free time to choose which areas you would like to explore.
Afterward, hop aboard your canal cruise. St. Petersburg is also called 'the Venice of the North,' and the tour includes a cruise along the River Neva and through picturesque canals. Finish the day with a visit to the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. This church is covered in rich, colorful decoration both inside and out. Afterward, return to your ship.
St Petersburg After pickup from the port, start the day with a city tour to the south. See the major sites of the palace estates including statues, monuments, rivers and canals, beautiful bridges, cathedrals and palaces, memorial squares and parks.
Then see Catherine Palace, admiring the stunning, 1000-foot facade. Your tour will visit all the major halls and private rooms, and a particular highlight is the Amber Room. Enjoy free time in the delightful, small town of Pushkin. Dine (own expense), explore, take photos, shop or stroll its manicured parks.
Then drive to Peterhof to visit Peterhof Fountain Park, built to rival Versailles in France. Peter the Great designed the 300-acre landscape, and you'll stroll through the lower park. Return to St Petersburg and take the Metro – which is an attraction in itself – to find out why it is known as the magnificent 'palace of the people.'
Afterward, return to your ship.

Four of us had two fantastic days in St Petersburg with Olga as our guide and Vladimir our driver. We were shown the palaces, and cathedrals, which were beautiful, and we also were treated to a ride on the subway, meeting the people and a visit to a shopping area. Our lunch was at a restaurant close to the school of opera, and were serenaded by the pupils of the opera school. Overall a really fulfilling and interesting tour. Our guide Olga was extremely interesting and always telling us of the history of St Petersburg.

Victoria (tour guide) and Ivan the bus driver were very professional. Victoria's English and history knowledge was first class. No difficult question could stump her! She was able to adapt her tour program depending on traffic, tourist queues, the weather and even where the best toilets were. The local quiet cafes for lunch were delightful. Her history lessons were so full of information about past and present life in St Petersburg. The guide met us at the port and the use of a headset made the touring from museums.churches and Metro train ride easy to walk and listen as a group. HIghly recommended. We saw everything, the tour guide was knowledgeable and her english was excellent, would highly recommend this company for anyone wanting to see St. Petersburg. They came recommended by a friend and did not disappoint, met us from the ship (even though private tours were let off the boat later they were there waiting for us) and both days were filled with lots to see. On time, well organized and a must if ever you are visiting anywhere these people go.

Fantastic Travel Agent for St. Petersburg We were a little skeptical initially about the Agency since we chose it based on reviews on Excoor however the service we received was exceptional. From start to finish our two day tour of St. Petersburg met every one of our expectations. The guide Dasha was extremely knowledgeable and flexible, her commentary and knowledge made the whole trip memorable. The best part of it was it was a small group, the bus was extremely comfortable and they made sure all the passengers were happy. I would give this place more than five stars for the price we had a fantastic experience, if you are travelling in St. Petersburg, use EXCOOR Travels, you get value for your money. Me and my husband joined two days tours with Excoor . We were very happy with the itinerary and our friend (tour guide Svetlana Krylova 白雪 we become friends now) is so knowledgeable about everything! The history of places we visited, whole Russian Empire she can all tell you the names the years. I am just very impressive! 101% recommend EXCOOR . 中國朋友如果您們被分配到白雪做您的導遊，您是賺到了！

My family (4 adults) was on the Baltic/Scandinavian Oceania Cruise. We took the 2-Day St Petersburg tour through Excoor and Svetlana was a fantastic, witty tour guide who always managed to get us around the big crowds to see the sites or in the right spot in the museums. She was very knowledgeable with fun filled facts, took us to 2 wonderful restaurants for lunch where we were able to order off the menu and pay with our CC. Our driver was great getting us quickly through heavy traffic and parking in the best spots. Travel agent was accommodating to get us back to our ship in time so we could join the cruise ship tour of the Russian Folk Dance. Because of TA it ended up being the highlight of our trip. They were quick to reply to my emails, easy to make reservations and get tickets. I would truly recommend using Excoor over any of the cruise line tours which are way overpriced, crowded with so-so tour guides. Everyone we passed/spoke with from our cruise ship were envious.
